Note: Registration is now closed for the 1st Annual EBCMP Campout. Direct questions to campout@ebcmp.org.

Friday June 30 – Sunday July 2, 2017
New Woodland Campground, Tilden Park
Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast
If you’re only able to join us for a single night or just during the day, that’s fine, please let us know on the registration page below.

Reserve your spot for a wonderful weekend of music and community in nature. Click the link below to register:

https://www.ebcmp.org/campout-registration/

The weekend will feature music and movement activities in the mornings, afternoon activities to choose from like a ukelele class, an art project, games, a hike, a swim in Lake Anza, and a visit to the Little Farm. In the evenings we will sing around the campfire (with s’mores of course) and hopefully share stories and skits.

Meals will be planned and shopped for by EBCMP campout organizers (vegetarian and gluten-free options provided for those who request them on the registration form); we will ask you to help with meal preparation and cleanup, and to bring one non-perishable snack item and some fruit to share at our communal snack station.

We don’t think the weekend will fill, but register early to secure a space!

Questions? Please email campout [at] ebcmp [dot] org

New Program: A Season of Song

A Season of Song is a way to support you in singing in your community, and to help you share it with the world. We started A Season of Song as a way of managing our annual caroling event that had gotten too big for comfort. We decided to create a template that folks could use to create singing events in their own neighborhoods, and to share the results in a way that we could all see. Thus, A Season of Song was born. We think it’s worthy of its own website:

aseasonofsong.org

For a step-by-step tutorial on creating a community singing event, please watch our video. Feel free to share it far and wide. Here’s a link. Then, when it’s time to get out and sing, document your event and share it on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, or the social media platform of your choice, with the hashtag #aseasonofsong. The A Season of Song Facebook group will be a place for folks to post videos of their events, or to post times and dates of community singing events. We have a Facebook page as well. We’ll also post videos and announcements on the website (not everyone is on Facebook) if you send us a message at aseasonofsong@ebcmp.org.

Check the website for updates, tips and tricks, events, and postings. Now get singing!
